Pakistan Update  Many of you joined us in helping a group of Pakistani Christians who were devastated by the recent flooding. Many of them were left to die not only by the ravaging flood waters but also by their country. Our contact and friend Reverend Iftikhar kept us up to speed on the families and their needs. With your help we were able to send over $4500 to these families for supplies and shelter. We recently found out that Reverend Iftikhar was invited by some Mosque leaders to talk about Jesus Christ. He was also able to challenge Leaders about finding Peace and Harmony in this Islamic Nation. During this meeting he met a predominant Islamic leader and was able to share about the love of Jesus with him. Reverend Iftikhar quickly learned that this man had severe heart issues and was awaiting surgery. Through prayer this man not only open his heart to the Lord but was healed and no longer needs bypass surgery. Since that meeting he has been sharing with his large following about Jesus Christ and challenging them to be a part of peace and change in Pakistan. |
