Meet Rakhi
 Rakhi is an 11 year old girl who has been attending the After School Program at the Alpha Care Center. At the After School Program, youth who are in school but need help with homework or are interested in learning the English language can come and get the help they need. Since attending, Rakhi has shared with us about her home life and specifically about her father's alcoholism and how it effects her and her family. Most nights she is met with a drunk father yelling and screaming at her and her siblings. Her family, like most families, are devout Hindu's but Rakhi has become increasingly interested in this "Jesus". She has also commented on how she has felt a strong presence with her and has started attending church with one of our staff members. She continues to study the Bible at the After School program and we are hopeful that through this relationship this family can find true restoration with the Lord.
