In the early morning hours of Good Friday Olem Jamir, Crossroads India director, lead 28 youths of the Navi Youth Movement (a ministry of Crossroads) on a intercessory prayer ride through the city of Mumbai, India. In the midst of pounding heat and stifling humidity, streets jammed with congested traffic - honking cars, weaving auto-rickshaws, and public transportation buses - and countless pedestrians these intrepid young people drove their motorcycles, scooters, and cars through the populated streets of Mumbai praying for their city and the people who populate it.

As they rode, the Holy Spirit simultaneously began to move on to each of them. Over the noise of the bustling traffic and their own motor bikes, they spontaneously and in unison began to sing and praise the one true God with boldness singing, "He is Lord, He has risen from the dead! Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Chris is Lord!"

Towards the end of the day, with increased boldness, these youths rode to the top of a mountain overlooking the city to a well-known Hindu temple named Sai Baba. At their own personal risk (these temples are sacred and protected by Hindu priests, anyone believed to be disrespecting or mocking the gods of this temple are punishable by law), these young people began to walk around the temple praying against the spiritual strongholds that have held this city for centuries and worshipping the one true God. Crying out to God, they asked for a Christian church to be established on this same mountain. This mountaintop now a place dedicated to idol worship and the continuance of evil would be replaced with a church honoring the God of all time and that God's glory and His presence might shine from this mountaintop as a beacon into every dark corner of Mumbai where sin abounds within the lives of the lost. These young people have a great understanding of the spiritual darkness that dominates their city, they have a deep longing for God to establish His truth within the city, and the radiance of His presence to be felt demonstratively on the crowded streets of Mumbai.
