Child Relief
2.5 million children orphaned by 2010. That’s
the stark reality facing us in South Africa. 2.0 million that's the
number of AIDS orphans in India today. Everyday thousands of children
in India and South Africa watch in horror as their parents lives waste
away in front of them. The horror of watching a parent die is trumped
by suffocating feelings of abandonment as the darkness of an an
uncertain future falls on them. Many fall prey to the sex trafficking
of small children encompassing our globe today. Others make their way
to the beaming lights of cities like Mumbai, India and Durban, South
Africa hoping to find shelter and food. Instead they find they must
fend for themselves on the mean streets of these major world class
